IVN & ECU PROTECTION

SecureCAR creates a master key using a public key (asymmetric) cryptographic key establishment algorithm. Then encrypts the message payloads communicated between ECU on the IVN using a proprietary symmetric session key management system. Authentication based on a combination of CAN ID Hopping and Unique Device ID (UID) is applied to each payload - designed to enable complete multi-layer protection of IVN message payloads.

INTELLIGENT FIREWALL

SecureIXS is a platform based on in-house developed CFI / machine learning algorithms that combines intrusion detection, intrusion protection and other smart firewall functionality. By using both a dynamic white list and black list, SecureIXS creates a configurable rule base which allows for seamless run-time optimization. Founded by engineers from the automotive, finance, cellular wireless, networking, consumer, industrial, and semiconductor industries. After working for Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT), Dr. Semmoto founded DDI CORPORATION (now KDDI) with Dr. Kazuo Inamori in 1984. He served as Senior Managing Director and Executive Vice President. In 1995, he became a professor at The Graduate School of Business Administration, Keio University. Dr. Semmoto then founded eAccess Ltd. in 1999, and served as the Chief Executive Officer and the Chairman of the Board, roles that enabled him to guide the successful growth of the company. Dr. Semmoto has been an executive advisor to Trillium since October 2014 and became chairman, representative director and board member in October 2015.

Mr. Uze has over twenty-five years experience in the high-tech arena as a senior executive, and has had extensive involvement in the field of cybersecurity throughout his career. His broad industry experience in technology comes from executive leadership roles in Semiconductors (President of Freescale Semiconductor Japan & Korea / Corporate Vice President), PC/Server/Data Security Systems (General Manager of Global Corporate Programs at Dell), Enterprise Hardware, Software & Solutions (VP of Commercial Sales & Marketing – APAC at AMD) and Wireless Telecommunications (General Manager of North Asia at LCC International; General Manager of Japan at Marconi Communications (Mobile Systems International). Before entering the technology sector, Mr. Uze worked in Management Consulting at Deloitte & Touche, banking and finance at Continental Bank & First Options of Chicago.
