Cars at risk by 2020
Within minutes a hacker can easily breach the traditional security measures of nearly any modern car. Once a hacker has access to a computerised vehicle travelling at 100km/h including control of steering, brakes, ignition and locks, the threat to human life and public safety cannot be underestimated. Security breaches are exploited for various nefarious purposes including information theft, vehicle theft, stalking, espionage and other illegal activities potentially including terrorism.
We at Trillium are deeply concerned that human lives and public safety remain at risk. Our SecureIoT suite is focused on effectively addressing the threats of today and tomorrow as they emerge.
